Project Scope and Purpose

Under this project, Martinez Construction Services (MCS) re-surfaced existing portions of the airfield taxiway asphalt via micro surfacing on Channel Islands Air National Guard Station in Port Hueneme, CA.

Specific Work Details

MCS applied around 195,000 square feet of airfield rated polymer-modified asphalt binder (micro-surfacing) over the existing asphalt surfaced airfield taxiway. MCS ensured the micro-surfacing filled all voids, depressions, and distresses in the asphalt.
